Red face Ball Joints ? Wheel bearings ??2000 Tacoma 4x4

Any thoughts on doing my front wheel bearings at the same time I do the ball joints ??

As things will be apart and to save me from doing another front end alignment

Getting close to 200,000 miles

Both inner and outer tie rods have all ready been done.

I don't know about doing the wheel bearings with the LBJs, but when i did my LBJs a few weeks ago it took no time at all.

PB Blaster soaking of the nuts and bolts a few times over the days before. Proper tools (which based on a lot of your comments I feel confident you have). I think I had 30 minutes in each side, 45 tops.

I would not worry with the bearings unless they are either giving you issues or you just have money to spend on OEM replacements. I would prefer 200k OEM's ro parts store replacements.

Like was said the LBJ are easy, and it would not be much easier to do the bearings now vs later, all of 4 bolts difference.

The thing being to change the wheel bearings the steering knuckle needs to come off so you can press the bearings in and out .

That is why I was thinking to do it all at once.

Are you doing the upper ball joints as well? If not then you will not be saving any time or energy besides 4 bolts. The upper ball joint is a pain BTW.
