Overdrive Comes On Early '85 LB EFI auto 4x4
Overdrive Comes On Early '85 LB EFI auto 4x4 and OD switch does nothing.
This is a recent purchase supposedly rebuilt motor and tranny and PO is clueless- starting diagnostis hoping for insight wher to begin.
It shifts 1,2,3 just fine but goes into OD right after #3, especially up hill (ugh)- I have to then manually shift to 2 and that's too much of a jump. I just want to turn the OD off for climbs, but switch does nothing, and no OD light. I have been trying the ECT switch and that doesn't help. I have to drive from 500' to over 7000' elevation about 20+ miles.
