w56 apart and will not go into neutral

i bought a w56 with a shot input shaft bearing to swap into my truck.

i took it apart and got the bearing replaced but now when im going back together with it, it seems as though its stuck in gear somehow. ive tried every possible position on the shift forks to no avail.

when i engage reverse it locks up.

any ideas? havent disassembled any shafts or anything. ive kept everything put together in the intermediate plate. is it possible i ˟˟˟˟ed something up when i was pressing on the bearing?

Did it shift fine before bearing replacement? W56 top or forward shift?
