Any Experience With Online OEM Parts Dealers?

Hey, whats up everybody.

My truck is in need of a new speedometer gear. It appears the previous owner kinked the cable and stripped the gear. Anyway cable still turns the odo and speedo fine so im looking for the gear.

The one I pulled out appears to be part#

33403-39135

Google gave me some hits. But i'm just wondering if these sites are legit, wanna make sure they are not a scam. Can anyone make a recommendation? Some place with decent shipping cost and time. Any thing helps. Let me know

These are some of the sites google told me sell the part

I like using my local dealer .

I get just as good prices no hassles to return things.

My one experience with a on line dealer the shipping and handling charges were very expensive.

My first and last time.

I too vote local dealer, if you have one. The one online source I talked to was actually a dealer, and the parts were on the expensive side.

All the online OEM sites are dealers; I don't think there is any other way to access Toyota distribution.

My first choice is my local dealer, but like any brick-and-mortar store they will charge more than online.
I've used http://www.toyotapartsoverstock.com/. (I use their website a lot.) I believe it is a dealer in Florida, and the experience was like ordering from any other good online seller.

I have had good luck with 1sttoyotaparts.com. Their prices seem good, and the shipping is not too bad. If you can get the shop rate from the local dealer, then that would be then best deal as there would be no shipping.

By the way, toyomotorparts.com is good for the parts diagrams.
