2002 4 runner cross cable boost

I accidentally crossed cables while boosting my 4runner. car went completely dead. I purchased a new battery, and vehicle was still powerless. I replaced the 120 amp ALT fusible link, and power was restored. However, the engine cranks, but doesn't start. there is a slight smell of fuel, so I think that the problem is ignition. Could I have blown any other fuses or ECU?

It's very possible that more than one fuse popped. No way to say exactly without having the truck in front of me. Get yourself a test light or multimeter and check them all.

Last time I heard of this (month ago) the ECU actually got popped. It was replaced with a $40 junkyard ECU and all was well. Check fuses first of course. Just sayin- it can happen.
