89 DLX Dome light

Does anybody know what the heck size dome light fits this? Just the dome light up by the rear view mirror, no map lights, on/off/door is the selection. It is NOT a 3175. 3175 is too long. Driving me nuts. Even the dealer thinks I'm retarded. A 3175 DOES NOT fit. I've tried. I'll post a pic here today. I lost the original years ago, had a bulb kind of stuffed in there, it worked, but shook loose and I want the correct one. Haven't had a dome light in months.

Hard to see, but a 3175 1/16 - 1/8" too long. Sorry for the fat fingers. And yes, I have the owners manual, and no, it does not list a bulb size.

Looks like it should work. In the 2nd pic can't just push it in? You do know the piece on the right moves?
I bought a 36 led panel with a adjustable festoon bulb adapter from Low Range IIRC. Super bright. I'll get a pic of if it when I get home tonight

I have an LED lite I got from AutoZone in mine with the #'s *2670 on it. Fits nice and is plenty bright. I've got a 4Runner which has a dome just behind the front seats but I installed the dome out of a pickup as well to double up the light. Between the two domes and the lights in my doors I can damn near light the parking lot up.

You can stuff it in there, but it will only sit cockeyed and eventually falls out. The clips (yes, the right one does move) are not far enough apart to fit it in correctly. A pic would be awesome, and if I can't find a regular bulb, I'll probably just go with an led arrangement. Or eventually, I'll find a grey SR5 dome with dimmer mirror n map lights.
Thanks for the 2670 led #, I'll see if they'll let me test fit it. Got a vatozone here in town.

It's hard to see in the picture with my fat hand and iPhone that won't focus, but the clips hit about the middle of the metal caps on each end if it's lined up square.

Just to let you know. The LED bulbs only allow current in one direction. So if you put it in and it doesn't work, 180 it.

BTW, jasonyota, you're my hero. That's the first adjustable led panel I've seen. It's on order now. Thank you!
