I went to the junkyard today for a fuel injector and some otherparts. I stopped at one of those import car junk yards and asked the guy if he had any 4Runners. He said "We, have 2 or 3, but we do have a lot of Pathfinders. You should be able to find your part on one of them.". :wtf:
I was pissed.

 

The axle breather will work, maybe thats what he's talking about......

Just ask him if all engines are interchangeable or just GM, Ford and Mercedes?

that sucks, i love my local junkyard. its right next door to my work. i just became buddies with some of the workers and they gave me a toyota 4runner cd,cassette,radio , a toyota brushgaurd, husky floor liners, and a hitch for my 4runner all for $100 bucks. That was saawweeett!!! And just the other day i saw a tacoma come in rolled with some sweet custom 16" rims and new goodyear wrangler m/t's on it. im gonna see what kinda deal i can get on those.
