For those of you that have performed this:
1. What did you catch the extra gasoline in?
2. What did you do with it when you finished? Did you dispose of the extra gas or did you put it back in the truck?

If I remember right, there wasn't much gas to catch. I put a bucket under it and only a small amount of gas came out, not enough to worry about putting it back in the truck but you could if you wanted to I guess. I think I just soaked it up with something and threw it away.

 

1. A bucket.
2. Pour it in your lawn mower. Trying to get it back in the truck is just too messy. It's not much anyway. Did you see my writeup on the process in the tech section?

Yea I saw your write-up. Didn't it say that a fair amount of gas came out?

I just wanted to be environmentaly friendly.

Nothing a gallon bucket won't hold though. If you wanna prevent gas from coming out, you can disconnect the fuel pump from the top of the gas tank and let the engine run dry. I didn't do that because I didn't wanna figure out how to unplug the fuel pump.
