sorry for the post because i am sure somewhere it is blasted all over the internet but with my searches, possibly due to my wording, i cannot find the exact answer

will the factory trd rear locker from a 99 tacoma fit into the housing and match the axle splines of the 3rd generation toyota pickup? i am fairly positive that it will, i am also fairly positive that he housing will have to be cut and there will need to be 2 or 3 bolts redrilled and tapped.

just looking for a little more reassurance, possibly even a definitive yes! lol
