Still Having Idle Trouble with my 22RE

Hey guys. I have been following many of your threads concerning the idle issues with the 22RE engines. I have a 1993 Toyota Pickup 4X4. with the 22RE. I have been having weird idle issues with it. Ill start it up and it will run fine during warm up. After the warm up the idle goes up to about 2000 RPMs and stays there during idle. If I shut off the truck and restart it, it goes back to normal. but when I hit the gas to take off or rev it past 2000 RPMs it goes back to 2000 RPM idle.
Also the brakes don't seem to have an effect on it.
-The air screw is all the way down.
-I have checked for air leaks in vacuum lines.
-I recently replaced the IAC (less than two weeks ago) Also cleaning the throttle body and as much of the intake as I could.
-Ran a can of sea foam through the vacuum lines to clear out throttle body and intake.
-Cleaned air filter
-Teflon taped the idle air screw to try to seal that off too.

Tried all these things and still has weird idle issues. It did have the "surging issue" in the idle as well but not of recent.

Im going crazy trying to fix this. Any ideas let me know. Thank you.
Zac D.

well first make sure the dash pot isnt bound up holding the throttle open unhook the throttle cable see if it behaves cable may be an issue

get some good carb cleaner or brake cleaner not the green stuff you need it flamable spritz around the TB the intake around the injectors small bursts even around the IAC if ANY change happens in the idle you got a leak around that spot

also check the air pipe over to the maf make sure its sealed no cracks or leaks terry87 had one drove him nuts trying to find the reason his wouldnt run the fan wore a hole in his after a bout of fast idling

also the brake booster the various valve cover vsv's all it takes is one to fail internally just a few ideas hope it helps
