Tranny went out last night on my 91 runner,found a good used one with 26,000 on rebuild with paperwork but out of a 93 truck. Both have the 3.0 and are 4wd. Is there anything else besides maybe my truck having ADD and his not having it? Any help would be appreciated! Need to get my DD back in the road without spending 2g's!!

 

Should be identical. But no guarantees on it.

 

You will have to change out the Speed sensor or rear cap with the speed sensor gears in it.
91 used cable speedo and 92 up used electric.
