What trans is this???

What trans is this???
Hey all,
I'm new to the boards here and am having some trouble identifying a transmission I just picked up from the graveyard.
I just bought an '85 Pickup Ex Cab 2wd with a 22r and blew the counter shaft gears within 3 days. I have confirmed that the trans I pulled out of my truck is a W50 (left), definitely not the original trans but that's not the issue.
The trans I got from the yard (right) came out of a '86 ex cab 2wd with a 22r and I can't identify it. I can't locate any casting marks at all. It looks to be a W56 but all the pictures I find are for 4x4 units which have different tail shafts.
Any help anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated.
