88 yoda sluggish acceleration

So I performed a valve adjustment on it last weekend cause I was hearing a bit of valve lash. I adjusted them, drove it back and forth to work yesterday and today and my acceleration was really sluggish. There is one little spot when pressing the throttle where it accelerates aok, but if appied more peddle it actually decelerates. Lol. I cant go more than about 50 mph. It performed well before I did valve adjustment just had some chatter going on under the hood. It doesn't have o2 sensor harness hooked up. Can someone throw me a frickin bone here. Thanks.

Probably a vacuum hose or sensor didn't get hooked up right again after you had things apart. Check your work carefully.
