93 will not run

OK I have a 93 DLX with the 4cy motor. Yesterday I was out with some friends in the woods. I came over a small hill into a creak/mud hole, the front end dropped into the hole I had my foot on the gas to keep from getting stuck. At that point it stalled out and had to wench it out, once out of the hole tired to start it and it would not start it turned over but would not start. I open the Disruptor it was dry the cap looks a little worn. Any ideas on what to look for to get it running again?

See if it starts today water tends to cause interesting things to happen.

Then if you have a disruptor in the engine I can`t say how getting wet might hurt that.

Perhaps you meant Distributor ??

Just how long was it in the water and how deep was it before you wenched(winched) it out??

Tired to start it today with no luck.
The front end may have been in water for all of 2 seconds. When it stalled out the water was below the step bar on my truck. Stock truck with 31 on it.

In the engine compartment, either the starter and/or the alternator is the lowest I can think of. Maybe the alternator needs to dry out?

How deep did the front end get? Check and clean all the wire connectors you can find and check to see if the ECM got went. See whicj it isn't getting, fuel, air, spark, or compression.

Pull the plugs and look at them make sure the dont have water on them. Let it dry out. Check you connections and fuses. Including relays in the engine compartment. Water is awesome except when it happens to you. Then it's beyond words or bad and badder. Good luck
