I'm just curious about what kind of engine (with more power) will be the easiest to swap into my 91 4runner?

V6 3.0L 3VZE

Well you could buy a 3vze with 190 hp from a bunch of places on the web, or look into the 3.4 swap. Those will be your 2 best options for "bolt in"

X2 I vote 3.4 over another 3.0

A little more to a swap then just bolt it in.

Read through the 3.4 swap section to get the idea.

Then it depends just what your end goal is.

I wish i had gone with a 3.4 instead of the 3.0 (twice actually) in the end I didn't save any money (from what i estimate/found what 3.4 swaps cost) and just kept all of the headaches associated with the 3.slow. If you're mechanically and electrically inclined then the swap should be a piece of cake as long as you get all your ducks in a row! Also check out Toy Only Swaps. could be an option http://www.toyonlyswaps.com/Page_2.html or DIY http://www.toyonlyswaps.com/Page_5.html

Thanks for all your help guys

Looks like the 3.4 seems to be the best option. I did hear something about a lexus engine once... If any one knows anything about that I would be interested to know more, but I will read up on the 3.4 swap. Thanks!
