Gas Pedal

do they make replacement gas pedals for my 83 pickup? I don't have a pedal, just the bar that it should mount on

You could weld one on and cover it with the proper rubber pad. Low range off road sells them.

I didn't like the stock pivoting pedal on my 83 so I modified a 2000 Tacoma pedal to fit my truck. Corey (Member name: Slacker) did something very similar on his Trekker. Here's the post on how I did it in my build thread:
