my 1987 pick ups passenger side windshield wiper stopped moving. I thought they were on the same track or motor. Any ideas on what to do . the drivers side swipes but thats it. Winter is coming and I dont want to take it to a shop if I dont have to. Thank you in advance.

 

Is it turning on the post? Or is the linkage it self disconnected? Can you move it freely by hand?

 

You only need the drivers side.

This problem can be solved by using our senses. Look, feel, listen.

Look through cowl grill. Do you see link between driver side and passenger side moving? Working? Broken? Splines on passenger side pivot where wiper arm mounts on stripped?

 

Perhaps it has the dual wiper control option for that year!!
