New potential engine swap option

This looks like it has some potential for a future swap option. Assuming of course that it does go into production.

One big problem for guys like us doing engine swaps, is price. I couldn't even guess how much that engine would cost as a crate engine

I totally agree. The other option is the new GM LV3 4.3 v6 or the next gen 4.3 vortec that is what I call a ls1 v6 type of design. Both of these options will of course need to be in production for a couple years in order for a decent amount of them hit the scrap yards for a more realistic price. The ford ecoboost 4 cylinder has possibilities as well. I think the standalone controller would be a stopping block for this engine.

Hope to see these engines soon.

Only thing that's close is the TDI.
