Wiring diagram, aftermarket gauges

I have a full build prerunner, cab frame etc is a 95 Tacoma engine is out of a 2001 2.7.
I am looking for what line off the ecu I would tie into to add a volt meter. Found the tach line.
Next is a mechanical oil pressure gauge. Where do I tie in on this motor? I can rip a Chevy apart and wire it all day new to the yoga world. Any tips or help is always welcome.

Why would you want to get your voltage source off the ECM??

I ran mine right off the battery you can also go off a switched power in the fuse block.

Should be pretty easy to see the oil pressure sending unit.

Trying to keep things inside the cab. Plus my battery is located in the bed more wire to expose. Most these trucks have the wire already there for the option if you had it on your gauge cluster. Just wondering if it was there and quick easy tie on.

Will prob go off the fuse block already have a new power wire running from the back to the fuse block. Just the ECM is right behind my glove box 6" from where the gauge is going was hoping it was already there.

I am sure you could tie into the ECM but do you really want to take the chance something dumb will either fry the ecm or leave you sit along the road.

Maybe some one will post up and tell you just what wires without the EWD in hand way to easy to make mistakes.

Already installed found a dead ended wire that is tied to the ignition switch.

Anyone have a picture of the oil pressure sending unit? And easiest way to tie in a mechanical gauge
