pvc hose on 2.4 diesel w/turbo

So i have a 85 4runner 2.4 diesel with a turbo and the pvc hose is put before the turbo. I seem to be pulling in some oil and i seem to blow blue. I might have some ˟˟˟˟ting rings as a result of the turbo, but otherwise I was wondering if i really need the pvc hose there or if i can move it to after the turbo, or just put a breather on it.
Does anyone have any suggestions or know otherwise??

Ok since we don`t really see that engine unless some one drove it here through one of the trans ocean tunnels.

I am hoping you all ready replaced the valve with the correct one and a new hose as well

Looking at all the pictures I saw it indeed looks like it goes from the valve cover to the intake side of the turbo.

It is also the same on the 22RTEC engine.

It can`t be on the output side of the turbo it would push the air back into the valve cover!!

If you can get away with just a breather emissions wise .Only you know what you can get away with.

If you are getting blow by it will make a mess of your engine compartment

Myself I would rather burn it till the engine is rebuilt

Ya it makes sence that its in the right place. Im in australia atm on a holiday working visa. I wanna just block it off but i think i am getting blowby and maybe thats why it blew off on me my 2nd day out offroading here. it did make a mess of the engine compartment lol but 2 parts of my intake times blew off.
Im trying to find out how much itd be to export this to canada but havent gotten a reply from this company ive enquired about. I really like this and its got 313xxxkm and i cant find Any rust at all. Factory SA too.

One of those things you really don`t know what you have till it is all apart.

That kind of miles you might need to bore the block to get it back to round new rings on a egg shaped cylinder might be worse then now.

Plan on doing the whole engine or live with it like it is

Good point.
Damn. Lol
So since this engine wasnt stock with a turbo, should i see what kind of pistons to accomodate a turbo is out there?
Hypethetically, if i ended up rebuilding as it is with the turbo, it would just push passed them again even with its 313xxxkm.

Interesting it seems Turbo Kits for that engine are pretty common.

As this is a quite common engine outside the USA

The only thing I can think of is do some research contact some of these vendors see what they have to say.If you can figure out just what kit is on your engine even better.

Most often the new cylinder to ring clearance one should in theory have a good seal .Then rings have been known not to seat.

It seems there was no mention of different pistons so perhaps that is not really a issue. In the turbo charging of this engine.

In any case Good luck
