Motor skip 22R

22R skips at idol only. Just got this truck with it skipping. Just replace plugs, plug wires, rotor button, rotor cap, fuel filter. And it don't have a vac leak that I can find. Can y'all help.

It had a vacuum leak at the carb. It was just a loose hose. The 1st hose on carb right side front. All fixed but still running a little rough but ally better.

Check the valve adjustment too. They tighten up over time as the valve seats erode and the valves don't seal quite as well as they used to. I worked on a high mileage 22R that would miss on #3 at idle only, but smoothed right out after a valve adjustment.

Usually it's the exhaust side.

That is my next plans. I have a bad valve cover leak and I wanted to adjust the valves and paint the cover for giggles. 219,000 on the dash. And I found paper work from my grandad that in 94 a dealership dropped a used motor in it. So miles unknow. But It runs great now and I planing to bag it next year.
