Wheel bearings. I hope...
Ok so I noticed a funny vibration coming from the front end of my 93 pickup. At first only on left hand turns. Then more and more consistent in all driving. No squealing just almost a low not grind but vibration ish. So the wheel bearings are probably due by now but, if that doesn't solve it. What are my next possible suspects. I have jacked up the front end and the drivers side has more slop than I feel is ok. Does that indicate its ball joint time and all the good stuff that comes with them. Tie rod ends ect. Probably BJ spacers & diff drop while I am at it. Am I missing something obvious that would give me the tire wobble
The truck
93 pickup x-cab
22re, 5 speed, manual hubs
4x4
218k miles
31x10.5x15 Toyo MT's
4:10's
Open diffs
Let me know what info I missed. I usually miss something
Thanks all

I think your overthinking it. Which part has slack in it? Helps to have a buddy look and/or wiggle the tire. If it's the wheel bearings you can see if your spindle nut is at the proper torque. If that's loose you can just repack the bearings with new grease then set the proper bearing preload.

Define to much play??Could just by how the tires are wearing.
Change in tire pressure
It only takes a few minutes to pull the hub and check your wheel bearings .
Over the years I have had wheel bearings that failed and never made a sound till about 10 minutes before it exploded.
Vibrations can be tricky are you feeling it in the steering wheel??
The drive train??
Then if you really want to rebuild your front end it can`t hurt.

Ok describe to much play: with the truck on the ground it feels as if there is a little slop left to right if you grab the tire and wiggle it. When its jacked up you can feel noticeable left to right play and a clank sound.
Last night I pulled the hub and rotor and checked the drivers side bearings. They looked ok but I had a fresh set at the house so I packers them changed the races and bearings and seal. Put it back together. I have wheel bearings let go quietly as well so that's why I have a spare set at home for that reason. I have a friend that has a shop so I am going to see when I can put it up on a lift and look for play/worn parts.
I did notice while the tire was off that my steering box connection (pitman arm) I think. Was a little loose and the rubber looks beat up. I will try and upload a pic after I get off work tonight.
