95 4Runner lights on dash come on on start up

95 4Runner lights on dash come on on start up
asking this for my son , he has a 95 4Runner and when he starts it up some or all the dash lights will come on he said it could be just the abs[ for example ] or 2 or 3 more its always different and he said if he turns it of and restarts it they might be all off or could be just 1 light on .anybody else ever have this happen to them ?
