NEED HELP. 94 Toyota 4runner 3.0 v6 auto.

Well new to this forum. Seems like I can get a lot of knowledge from it, but anyways I bought this toyota about 4 months ago, and it ran great until about
2 months ago when I pulled off from the gas station and it dident want to take off, it almost stalled and then it all of a sudden just stopped, so I just put the thought to the side, well 4 days ago I was cleaning my air box out and I realized that the wires on the mass air flow sensor liked kinda crusty, so I went out and bought a mass air flow sensor for it, put me back 150, well now it acts like it dosent even want to start now, I've got it running and took It down the road and it won't even get above 20, now today i put a fuel filter and now it'll get up alittle faster than 20 but that's in drive, I can put it in low and it's sluggish when I take off but once it hits around 4000 rpms it'll kick in and take off, I have no clue what is going on and I was wondering if anybody had the same problem or could help,

Have you done a tune-up...spark plugs, wires, etc? Checked ground wires and battery connections? Checked hoses for cracks yielding a vacuum leak? Check engine light on?

What is your experience level diagnosing and repairing engines?

Welcome to YT.

Get a copy of the factory service manual.

In it is a section called maintenance. Start there. Also look at plenum cleaning, fuel injector cleaning, seafoam. Etc. All covered in posts on this forum.
