3.0 to 3.4 Swap

I'm trying to find some info on the 3.0 to 3.4 swap. I have a 88 pickup with the 3.0 5speed and just discovered that the motor is beyond repair. I know that they make a conversion harness for the wiring, its just to rich for me. I'm sure there people out there that have done this swap in the back yard like me. Any tips will be great. Thanks!

Search the googles, plenty of folks have done this swap. It's very popular.

What makes the wiring easy for me is having the Toyota Electrical Wiring Diagrams for your truck and the one for the year engine you get .

Unless you happen to find a write up on just the same combination of years you have things will be different.

Find your donor vehicle and go from there.
