85 4WD 22RE No Spark,Igniter Very Hot
I have a 1985 4wd 22RE,I am trying to get running.It has no spark.The igniter was very hot after I cranked it (Quite a bit).There are also a couple of wires going to the coil/igniter that it looks like someone has added(Does anyone know what this could be?)Any suggestions?

How bad did you burn your fingers when you touched the igniter??
How about some history ??
Has this engine ever run since you have it??
Extra wires can mean all kinds of exciting times no telling what someone might have added . That could be your problem
You have all ready done the basics major tune up??
So many things could be the culprit
