Question OME CS009R medium duty leaves too short on 93 pickup

So I got my new CS009R OME rear leaves and I measured them up to be 44" eye to eye. They don't even come close to reaching the shackle. My stock leaves on my 1993 4wd Pickup measure like 49" eye to eye. I've heard stock leaves are supposed to be like 47" eye to eye but mine are really wore out.

I'm in contact with the shop I purchased them from and they are helping me sort out the problem.

I just would like some input to see if anyone else has run into this problem as well or what the solution may be.

Thanks

I literally just got done installing these on my 1992. I thought the same thing; there was no way the shackles were going to reach. With the front eye mounted up, I lowered the truck to compress the spring. It will move back enough for the shackles to reach, but you will have to persuade them to meet.

with the weight off the spring, my shackles (stock length) are inverted buy about 15 degrees. I'm still researching if this is correct or not, but so far I haven't had an issue.

I didn't measure the springs before putting them on, so I cant verify the eye to eye distance.

EDIT: are you sure you have the cs009r springs? the ARB sites says those are for 79'-88' pickup. I installed the cs019r which is called out for the 89'-94' pickups.

Yeah I'm sure they are the CS009R, site had them listed as fitting the 1993 pickup and I confirmed it with the shop today. I just don't know if I need to go and get 2" lift shackles to meet or still run the brand new factory shackles I just got. I only wanted to do springs and bushings haha

I did a quick search for the cs019r's and it came up as being just as you described. The problem is, if you go through the site by department the cs009r's are listed as being able to fit the 86-95! So confused!

I am running the cs009r leafs on the rear of my rig. I can tell you these will not fit a truck from 89-94 when Toyota changed the rear leaf length.

Thanks guys

I got an email from the shop and they had an incorrect parts listing on their site and they will be correcting this.

Thanks for the info guys, I'll be sure to post some pics when I get everything fixed and installed.
