22RTE Headgasket and ARP questions

First off I have done some research on this but I cant find a def answer.

Ive seen some instances with people having clearance issues with the valvecover when using ARP headstuds. What is the cause of that? Is it a problem with the head being milled too much?

Also what MHG would be appropriate? Thickness? Or does the thickness depend solely on how much was milled? Ive also read some threads with people using composite headgaskets with ARP studs with no issues once the tuning is spot on.

Taking thoughts and concerns on the topic. This is my first forced induction engine build and I would really hate to screw it up.

Thanks!!

Im a little late to the party but here it goes :
ARP studs are hit and miss with the valve cover issue. Ive done 2 sets with no issue at all. But if you do run into a problem its just the webbing on the cover so shaving a bit is not a big deal.
