truck was stumbling at idle, surging and stalling out . installed


new fuel filter,
new ngk plugs,
new ngk wires
, new rotor and cap,
new temp sending unit.

ran great for a whole day.

let it sit for a day, went to drive it. truck did not want to idle, i could hear the door opening and closing on the afm. pulled it off to look, "looks good" i bet it was replaced by previous owner.

truck idle rops down below 500-300rpm. if i rev it back up, i can here the afm pop. it will stumble a little at lower idle. i backed the idle screw out and brought the idle up to about 900. i still have the stumble, and pop from afm.

did not find any vacuum leaks

door on afm closes easily. was clean inside.

 

just unplugged throttle position sensor and idle comes back up, seems to run just like i expect my toyotas to run.
