I need to know where I get some cheap transmission fluid . Autozone gave me a price $30 for just two quarts. And how much does one hold I read 4 to 7 pints or until over flow. What type of fluid a guy i could put type in it. And when i drained the tranny did also drain the Transfere case

 

Any GL4 will work.

Should be just over 3 quarts for the tranny. I dont remember off hand for the t case, I think its around 2 (?) Plenty of threads around here on changing tranny/ tcase oil.

30 for 2 quarts? Sounds right for a quality synthetic?

Use quality oil. Its is the "blood" of your moving parts and you want them to be properly lubricated.
