I just put in a new U joint in my 89 pickup and when ever I get above 1.5rpms my ride side shakes TERRIBLY. Could i have put the driveshaft in wrong possibly? any ideas? I dont know about higher speeds because im too scared to find out what will happen

Try clocking the driveshaft. they are meant to go back in the way they came out due to balancing. Either that or the ujoint is in cockeyed somehow.

clocking is turning it....instead of how it is now....loosen it up...and rotate it a quarter turn at a time until you either make the vibrations go away or not.
