Pre 79 Bed on an 83 4WD

I have a 79 pickup bed that was made into a trailer, the bed has no rust holes or dents. I'm wondering how the lines will match up and if it will even mount with a lot of fabrication. Thanks!

funny thing is, I never really thought that the lines on the pre 79 beds lined up well with the lines on the pre 79 cabs to begin with.

I'm about to take my bed off anyway to inspect the frame so I'll probably go ahead and try to drop the bed on there to see how it looks

You know you can get a brand new bed from slacker right? That will never rust. As a matter of fact...someone I know just ordered one and will surely be unveiling it soon....hmmm who could that be?

Haha yeah I know but I'm a highschool student so I can't spend that kind of money. I am considering the bed sides from him though.

I didn't think of doing that, it's a 72 bed I think.
