I have a 97 trd standard cab 5vze 5speed manual with a rear differential locker it is stuck on and I can't seem to find any of the elctrical components people are talking about! It is a push button style on and off that controls locker ...someone please help with a pic or even a general area to look in.

Interesting. There's literally a thousand ways to figure this out. Right now though, pop the electric motor off and flip the fork over so it's unlocked(probably have to jack a tire up).

Well after no help from anyone , information that has helped me none , and a useless chilton manual that only shows a pic of a front locker. I think I will do a write up on how to disassemble, replace, and troubleshoot the rear axle electrical factory locker so stay tuned to find out what no one else seems to know!

If I owned the 97 Tacoma I would also have the EWD for my truck telling me just where all those thingys are.
