help identifying vacuum port 3.0

Good day.

I need some help identifying what this thing does on the 3vze...

Anyone know? How necessary is it? Thanks in advance!

yeah....basically it bumps the idle up when the ac is on. I don't remember the exact mechanism but basically pulls vacuum when you turn it on so the engine raises idle so you don't stall with the extra load of the ac running.

I gotcha now. Thanks for the help! Now I can look up diagrams to hook the lines back up. I should be able to figure it out.

I've found the under hood vacuum diagram to be the most helpful. I've probably reverified all the vacuum lines atleast 10 times in the last month so if you run into an issue, let me know and I can probably help you out.

Thanks crash. After you said that I went and studied the diagram under my hood and had one of those face palm moments lol. It was right behind the back of my head the entire time! Haha, we will see how it runs in the next couple of days.
