Rock slider 4 an 87 4runner with suspension and body lift

Hey guys!
recently got my beloved 4runner and have started to build her up. I have ran into a speed bump though; I am trying to find rock sliders that will still hug the body of the truck even though it has both a suspension and body lift. The few that I have found will not hug the body if you have a body lift! What to do? Any advice?

normal ones will work fine, just weld them up 3in. higher. if you use the weld plates even better. my old runner had sliders and they were welded at the bottom of the side of the frame rail, so you should be able to move them up 2 or 3 inches and be fine.

^ This. What ones have you found that dont hug the body?

You dont want a "Brush guard" You want a real bumper. Check out Trail-gear, addicted off road, anf 4xinnovations to name a few.

Keep reading around here. There as alot of good information, you just have to search for it.

I was lookin at the TG (trail gear) sliders, 4wheel parts said wouldn't work. I think those guys aren't the most educated, they also told me I don't have a speedo gear and I pulled the dang thing out myself and was holding it while on the phone with him. Thanks for the advice will look into it.
