3rd Gen 4runner: Turn Signal causing downshifting
Hey fellas, first time posting so first I'll say hey. Been on the hunt for a 4runner and think I found the one. I checked all the basics and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. I live in AZ so I never have to worry about rust which is a big plus.
Seems really solid however it has an issue where when you are going over 50mph and you use the turn signals it downshifts...it is pretty odd
Also when you use the turn signals or the hazard switch the solenoid inside the center console near the shifter clicks each time the lights flash.
Other than those 2 issues I couldn't find anything that would scare me away from buying the 4runner.
I tried searching and was unable to find anything even relating to this I am pretty stumped.
I am ready to pull the trigger on this thing but I wanted to do some more research before I find out it is something major.
Thanks in advance guys
