Quick question - oil pump through-bolt length?

Hey all,

mid-way through my timing chain replacement (22RE) and I just want to make sure I get that one oil pump bolt right. It is the one that goes all the way through the cover. My understanding is if you get the wrong bolt and it is too long, it will bind up the tensioner and then your fubar'd.

I tried searching for a length, but I couldn't find it. I'm going off memory here, but I think the bolt I pulled out of that spot was 1 9/16" long. Can anyone confirm?

I just want to make sure the fubar thing doesn't happen

Thanks!

I did take the bolts out one at a time and put them all in the corresponding holes in the new cover, so each bolt was carefully taken out. However, given the amount of miles on this 4runner (243k), there has likely been a timing chain replacement in its past, which means that someone was in there before me, so I was just looking for confirmation.

I was checking with the FSM I have on hand, but couldn't find the exact info. I'm pretty new to the FSM, so it may be on me.
