Wiring Harness Cut

We had to replace the 22 re in my toy truck.95 model.Had some help and when it came out the wiring harness was cut back by the oxygen sensor.I cant tell which wire goes to what.I have 2 white wires and one blue and one black.I believe. There are 4 wires and I tried a few different combos to get the check engine light out but still cant get it.Amy help would be appreciated cant find anything in my books on it.

Just where was it cut?/

Then maybe the wires were just ripped out of the plug??

the 2 white wires are the heater circuit

Just how are you trying to clear the code??

The plug is fine.About 6 inches from the plug the wires are just sliced. Then I have the four wires to the oxygen sensor.Dont know how they got sliced in half but I need to wire them back together and its a rough job with all the different combinations wth four wires. Now I know the two white are heater wires ill keep them seperate and try to get it together. As far as getting the light to go out I was just trying a combination hooking the wires up and starting it and let it run see if the ligjt would go out.I bought a scanner so this week ill try to get this all working. Thanks a lot for the advice.

I looked at my wiring today and here is what I have.

The only wire that has voltage is the black wire and it has 12 volts. But after awhile it drops down to about a half a volt.

Also I cant use my scanner tool on this I guess its too old.I checked the blinks from the check engine light with the terminal jumped like the book says.

I get first two flashes and then one flash, then it just repeats itself over and over.

The closest I have is the 94 4Runner and the colors are not even close.

On the wiring harness, the black wire is the O2 sensor output, the tan wire is the O2 sensor ground, the yellow-red (or white-red) wire is the 12V to the heater, and the pink-green wire is the heater control (switched to ground by the ECU to turn on the heater).

Hope that helps a little.

I wanted to thank you for the advice on the oxygen sensor.I hooked up the wires the way you told me and started it up and the light went out.Only problem left on the harness is the backup lights and the four wheel drive light.I have two wires on the drivers side of the trannt and I have one wire on the pass side on top of the tranny. The wiring harness only has tw wires I still need to find out where they go.But I am happy the check engine light is out.
