Are head gaskets specific to bore size?

Not sure if title is correct but I was curious about why LCE Eng. sells head gasket stating "up to .060 over" etc. My question is, in short, do I need a head gasket specific to my .030 over bore in my 86 22re? I ordered a oem gasket and it will be ready for pickup tomorrow at the local toyota shop. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Not usually. The gasket is good for a big range.

that head gasket will be fine for your use. The head gasket is not cut the same size as the oem bore. It is cut larger. Which works out well for you since your now have an oversized bore. Many people forget about the headgasket bore when adding up their compression ratio and it throws their numbers off.

Thank you for the responses. I picked up the standard oem gasket from dealership today and hope to have it installed tonight.
