Shop in San Diego for my 22RE?

Hey guys,

I'm sort of getting backed into a corner here, I have an 89 Toyota Pickup and I am in the middle of rebuilding the engine. In fact, I recently got the shortblock back from the machine shop and just today dropped it back into the engine bay. Meanwhile I am getting sent out on a short-notice deployment (Navy) for the remainder of the year.

The head is already rebuilt and ready to go. It really just needs all the odds and ends thrown back together -- timing chain, oil pump, head, valve cover, intake/exhaust manifolds, new battery and that's about it. I have 99% of the parts already.

I wasn't in a rush to do this at all, I've been taking my time and doing it right...but with this deployment I really can't just leave the truck where she is, so I'm considering taking her to a shop.

I need somebody who is (A) familiar/competent with 22RE's and (B) willing to take on a project that is only 70% done.

Anybody know a place?

The Truck Shop

Try The Truck Shop, on Miramar Road.

Shop rebuilt my 22RE, replaced all cooling system components and clutch. Owner James Ederer sed to race 22R-E's in Baja; he better know his 22R-E

Shop also has it's fabriciation business onsite called Built-Right.

...but with this deployment
OOO-RAAAH!

Regards,
RAD
