My 3vze is running terribly, 0-60 in about 19 seconds... there is a ticking noise sounding like it is coming from the distributor. I recently put in a remanufactured crate engine and I was wondering what is wrong. I replaced the distributor completely because I thought it was broken because when the timing is set to spec, the truck wont pass 50 mph without struggling, but when the timing is maxed out on advancement it at least does the 0-60 in 19 seconds I said before. Replacing the distributor didn't fix the problem.. I'm starting to give up on this thing.

 

Hi, my brothers 3vze is having the exact same signs as yours. Did you ever get it fixed? What did you do?
