2004 toyota 4runner

dunno if the title makes much sense, im not too familiar with cars. so this is what happened...
i couldnt find the fob to unlock/disable the alarm so i just tryed using the key instead. when i opened the door the alarm went off, so i started the car in hope that the horn would stop honking. i did, but when i try to start it back up all i hear is clicking. the light, radio and everything is working, just wont start. has anyone had this problem and know how to fix it? thanks!

 

Did you try unlocking all the doors with the key?

 

the only lock is on the driver side, and yes. i found the fob and tried using that but it still just clicks when i turn the ignition
