1993 Toyota pickup - Head gasket repair
i bought a 1993 Toyota regular cab off a craiglist for $1000.00 and possibly bad head gasket. this truck has V6 3.0L engine. my question is
1.) when i took off the heads, do i need to machine the block and heads both or just the heads?
2.) how do i know if i needs to machine them anyways and is it ok to install the head gasket, without machine the head?
i'm pretty sure this question was ask before, but i couldn't find any links related to this. if you know, please help me out.

When I have problems searching with this sites engine I use google with yotatech in as a search word.

If you only resurface the heads dont use a metal gasket. Also read down to mud hippy's post about that spray sealer. His advise is usually solid. Hope this helps.
