California to Texas no highways....

My sister is getting married in West Texas the middle of March. So we are trying to leave as soon as we get the truck all tuned up and ready to pull. The plan is to head from Half Moon Bay to Volcano for a few days, then to South Lake Tahoe, then out into the Great Basin, over into southern Utah, hit Monument Valley. Maybe a few days in Chaco Canyon, and then head into Texas around Clovis, I want to look for some arrowheads around there.

Yea, I keep getting lip from everyone! I bought it up in Lincoln, by you. Pulled it back down here to the bay, it pulled fine. Even on the hill in Vacaville. I'm doing some work to the truck, it has gears, I'm adding a trailer brake controller. The trailer only weighs about 2500lbs. If you aren't a 'tard, pulling a trailer is no problem, it just takes a little finesse. I've advanced the timing a bit and it helps you off the line if you bump your idle speed just a bit....
