Anyone seen the special edition 85 pickups

 

Yes, back in the mid to late 1980s they were a number of them at shows such as the Bloomsburg, Pa 4x4 Jamboree. The edition was also featured in many of the truck magazines. You could buy many of the partts featured on the truck at your local Toyota dealer. The editions sold very quickly at the Toyota dealers.

 

I was wondering if anyone else had one. The one in pic is one i have tht my dad bought new in 85

And the truck was done by Sonoran Steel. It's the Jan/Feb '14 issue.

 

That magazine is awesome. That build article made me want to paint mine so bad. It is kind of a bummer that they threw so much money at it and only use it as a daily driver.
