rearview mirror keeps falling off

rearview mirror keeps falling off

I have a 86 4runner and the rearview mirror in the cab keeps falling off. when I put it up its really loose and then goin down the road it falls off. anyone have any ideas thanks

There should be a set screw that holds it to the base that's glued to the glass.

yea I seen the screw I tried to tighten it and it was already tight. il look at it again and see if I can figure it out
