Stock muffler size/part number for a 79 4x4 s/b...

Hi everyone,
My 1979 4x4 s/b has a lifetime muffler warranty on it from Midas. The first muffler that Midas installed on the truck was in 1986. The last time the muffler was replaced by Midas was in 1994, at which point Midas still installed their own brand mufflers. The original Midas part number was 7922.
I was told that starting in 1997 or some thereabouts Midas stopped using their own mufflers and went with other aftermarket suppliers. I stopped in the local Midas shop to inquire about the warranty, and it is still valid. If I don't have them install the muffler, they will hand me the muffler uninstalled, and the warranty will no longer be valid; which is fine with me.
The issue is that the Midas shop can't seem to find the correct muffler part number now. All they can come up with is a muffler listing for a 2wd truck. They "think" a universal muffler will be the only option, but they don't know the size.
Does anyone have a part number/brand for a non-California emissions 4x4 short bed truck? If no part number is available, do you have the correct dimensions, including the inlet/outlet pipe size for a totally stock truck? Given that my truck is not CA emissions, it does not have a cat.

Thank you,
Zack

Brotha, it shouldn't matter much unless you are special application, or care about noise level. I run a glass pack on mine, performs great. If they will install a 2WD muffler, there should be no significant difference, pipe sizes and hangers should be identical.
