Newbie lift question
Alright guys. Im a newbie to this site, Toyotas and Ifs suspension overall lol. I have a question but i used the search tool already but could not quite find my answer. To start off I have a 94 ext cab pickup with a 3.0 v6. Im trying to get 3 inches of lift in the front and 2 in the back. I found some Bj spacers that claim 3" inches in the front. Is this true? Do i just install the spacers and the blocks in the rear and will i automatically have the lift im wanting to acheive? Or do I also need to crank the torsion Bars? Thanks for any info

Bj spacers will not net you 3" of lift. They are actually only 1.5" thick. Now you can crank the torsion bars a bit to get a bit more lift. I wouldn't go too much because your ride will suffer as will your cv axles. Manual hubs will help with the axles., You will need longer shocks and possibly wheel spacers or different rims to clear the upper A arm (this is all dependent on what rims you currently have)
As for the rear, you can use blocks but there are better ways as blocks will cause axle wrap. Lift springs would be the best way, then the zuk mod, then blocks. All will need longer shocks and you will probably need extended brake lines front and rear. You will also need a bracket for the LSPV that matches the amount of rear lift.
Keep researching both BJ spacers and Zuk mod and you will find a crap load of info. Also remember that the front suspensions are the same (more or less) from 86 to early 95 in both 4Runners and trucks, so more reading there as well. Also the rear suspension is similar for first gen 4Runners as they are for trucks(slight differences in leaf lengths, but the principals are the same)
A suggestion is to use google search and add yotatech to the end ie. BJ spacers yoyatech and you will get a lot of info.
Here is a good example of what I am talking about (different year but will work for you) https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...pickup-255628/
Hope this helps!

2"Front leveling spacer
Hello everyone new to site. I have searched alot on this topic and most info is for 4wd. I have a 2013 reg. cab 2wd that i want only to level. I ordered some 2" spacers for the front and I want to know will they actually lift it a full 2". I do not need that much, about a 1.5" would be fine. It is also a five lug. Skyjacker is who I ordered from and the teck said it was what I needed. The spacers only appear to be slighly over and inch in thickness, Will I get enough squash to be level or is the front going to be to high..??

On my 2012 ext cab 2" spacers ended up at 1 1/2" of lift and leveled perfectly

Thanks for filling the original posters thread with information not pertaining to his year/make/model of Toyota.
In the future please start a new thread or add to one relevant to your needs. This is just one of many reasons why you cannot find the information that you are looking for.

bj spacers come in different sizes and give about the same amount of lift that they actually measure. the confusion is that most sources selling these list the overall lift that can be achieved by using this spacer along with cranked torsion bars but dont list the actual hieght of the spacer. i recommend calling your supplier and asking for the measurement of the spacer itself
