good morning everyone! I pickup up a pair of the big Toyota towing mirrors (same ones from the Back to the Future yota) for my 88 pickup at the junkyard, but they did not have the screws with them. my driver door already had this mirror from the factory, but it was removed before I bought the door so I do not have the hardware. the passenger door has the standard mirror on it so I will need to drill a hole in the door for the bottom part of the mirror mount.


driver door questions.


1. since this door was already set up for this mirror, can someone with this setup please let me know the factory screw size I need to install the mirror? or where I can find this info?


passenger door questions:


1. will the screws from the standard mirror be sufficient for this top of the bracket for this mirror? I would assume so
2. how would you go about mounting the bottom of the mirror bracket. do I just drill through the door and use any old bolt and nut to secure it?
3. what is the best way to drill through the door? just center punch and a regular drill bit??
