wired connector next to intake (Identify)

Had some clogged injectors. Upon reassembleing I noticed this wired connector with nowhere to hook it up. Also, my temp gauge is jumping all over the place not sure if it is related. Name: CAM00016_zps48833c26.jpg

That's not a factory connector. The wire most likely is.

Started solenoid? Or does it start fine?

it starts fine, having a lack of fuel issue at the moment but that wire does have the grey coating just like the factory harness.

also have a hose fitting on top of the EGR device that goes from the intake to the block. It doesnt have a vacuum line on it. Any idea where this goes?

Their should be a coolant temp sensor just about where that wire is about half way back on the intake manifold between the 2nd and 3rd runners. Might go there?
